It was the showing of a product sample during a meeting about a really really different project that football wall art came about. Having explained for a number of weeks what the really really different idea and products were - seemed up until the point of the meeting not to be totally understood, and it wasn’t until the product samples were shown that everything fell into place and the market potential be realised.
The initial football related samples produced were of Manchester United winning the premier league, West Bromwich Albion winning the championship, and Jeff Astle one of West Bromwich Albion’s iconic heroes - who fans termed as ‘The King’.
There were other samples but not related to football, these will be able to seen as part of the really really different project.
During the meeting an undertaking was made to endeavour to get a new football related site up and running complete with products for every single football club within premiership, and championship including leagues 1 and 2 before the start of the season. And if possible to incorporate some international club sides as well as home and euro 2008 national teams.
The aim is be to add all the remaining national and club football teams as time moves on, but we think we have enough to be getting on with.
